Bread Pudding
Ingredients:8 cups day-old French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes1/2 cup raisins, if desired2 cups milk4 eggs1 cup sugar1/4 cup butter, melted1 tsp. ground cinnamon1/2 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg1/8 tsp. saltWhipped cream, if desired Spray inside of CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place bread and raisins in CanCooker. In medium bowl, beat milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and salt with a whisk. Pour mixture over bread and raisins in the CanCooker. Toss to evenly coat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Toss again to make sure the bread is evenly coated. Cover and cook on low heat for 12 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
