Hunting Arizona public land black bears is no joke. They live in some of the roughest country in the state, no doubt. Watch as our boys Rob and Jason push themselves to the limit traversing through this brutal terrain in pursuit of some big ol' bears here in AZ. Glassing canyons early in the morning is key so we can catch them heading to their bedding areas. It's a challenge to get into position before they are out of sight. These mountains and canyons are not easy to hike! We locate several sows and boars throughout the hunt, but the key is to be in position with enough legal light left to get a shot. Persistence pays off as our boys both get awesome bears! Congrats guys! Hard work pays off, what an amazing hunt!
