It is opening day of archery season in Texas, and Colten has been preparing all summer for the upcoming bow season. As they headed to the blind that evening, the Scroggins family was on a doe hunting mission, trying to get Colten some experience behind the bow in an actual hunting situation. After almost getting a shot on a doe literally moments within getting in the blind, she turned and didn't offer a shot. What happened next caught everyone by surprise as a big mature buck stepped out and was heading straight towards the blind. This doe hunt quickly turned into a buck hunt!
