Putting the Pig to Sleep & How-To Butcher a Pig
Tim and Nicki discuss the old fashioned tradition of "Putting the Pig to Sleep" by boiling the ham and wrapping it up in towels and blankets in a cooler for 12 hours. Add in some fancy extras of Tim's and you have the best tasting ham you've ever tried! Then we head to Lancaster, KY where folks at Marksbury Farm show us every part and piece of the pig along with the cuts you're most familiar with (and some you might not have heard of) from cheek to shank! Throw in some music from the Moron Brother's for just a little bit more things "pig"!
